Celebrating it’s 30th anniversary this year, the National Solar Tour is hosted by the American Solar Energy Society (ASES), of which TXSES is a chapter. The purpose of the Tour is to promote renewable energy awareness and increase the adoption of solar energy. centers around neighborhood discussions about solar, recommendations on installers, financing, local laws, and other considerations and hesitations around installing solar panels, purchasing electric vehicles, and instating energy efficiency upgrades.
