End Date: December 13, 2025
Time: 10 AM–12 PM
Location: North Lake Campus of Dallas College, Room G-401, or via Zoom

Join North Texas Renewable Energy Group (NTREG), a TXSES local chapter, for their hybrid December monthly meeting, held on Saturday, December 13, starting at 10 AM. The in-person meeting location is the North Lake campus of Dallas College, room G-401. See virtual meeting details in link below.

December’s featured speaker will be Kevin Richardson from the American Solar Grazing Association. Solar grazing is the practice of grazing livestock on solar farms. Sheep are the most common solar grazing animals, as they are the best-suited species for existing low-mount ground installations. They enjoy the shade of the solar panels on hot days, napping and grazing where humans would struggle to reach. They are resourceful foragers, walking to search for vegetation that might otherwise become a nuisance for the solar company. Goats, cows, pigs, and horses are not recommended for most existing installations, but can be viable in appropriately designed installations.
